We are still going strong with our excersices. I am very proud to report that we haven't even missed a day, because once you miss one day then more follow...
I haven't lost any weight. Well, the first week I lost almost 3 pounds but they are back on. I'm not disappointed because I didn't really started this ecersice program to loose weight but to tighten up which I think is happening slowly. I am sore, not painful sore, more like tired sore. Even though I'm happy with the routines we are doing I think soon I will have to start with my Zumba again. I have been so tired that when I tried last week I almost died half way through so I decided not to go for a while but I miss it.

My 2nd week in exersice program
My 2nd week in the P90X exercise program...Today is the 2nd day of my 2nd week doing P90x, and luckily and happily I am not too sore. Last week every muscle of my body was sore. I couldn't sit or stand up without grunting, and my arms, shoulders, back, etc were also sore.
Jared agrees with me, his arms are tired and heavy but at least he can raise them, last week he couldn't.
The workout today went a lot smother than last week, and I think I worked harder because my heart rate was raised and I was sweating. Doing the same thing last week I never reached the "sweating stage" I was too tired and sore.
We are also eating lots of lean protein and lots and lots of veggies, some fruits but not too many carbohydrates. Actually we are not eating white rice, instead we are having brown rice, couscous, barley, etc...and bread only 2 or 3 times a week.
This exercise program is supposed to last for 90 days. I wonder what we will do next.

Back to Normal
I am so glad that things are winding down back to normal. For the past month and some my life have been CRAZY. I love moving or so I think and say, but in reality is really, REALLY stressful.
I have been completely stressed out. I haven't had time to exercise which I need to do to stay happy (I haven't sign up for a gym yet, that is actually on my to do list for today, right after I go to the post office and hopefully, before lunch.)
On top of all of that "moving stress" we had to go to Utah right in the middle of our move. I LOVE GOING TO UTAH, I had to put that in capital letters because it sounds bad to say "we had to go" but really it was a very bad time for us to travel. It was just so close to the holidays, we didn't have a house yet, and we were only a couple of weeks away from our move out day... And did I mention that I drove the kids to Miami in mid October and came back 4 DAYS before flying to Utah!!?
The trip to Miami was also something I had to do. Now I can't drive to Miami as often as I before because we are a few hours farther north and Isabella started normal school. I probably would only be able to visit my mom during the summer, and so I had to drive one last time...and this is why I say, I am so glad to be in our new home, settled, Christmas over, and ready to have my normal life again!

Boringst
I have decided that my blogs are the most boringst among all blogs. I am thinking but nothing interesting comes to mind...so I'll try again another day.
September 12th to the 18th Exercise Update
Last week I went to the gym only once. On Wednesday I went to do yoga. On Tuesday I had a cub scout meeting and on Thursday Jared got home late. I went jogging Monday, Wednesday and Friday morning. I don't jog for long, usually only one and a half to two and a half miles around my neighborhood which includes two hills.
Our goal, Jared's and mine, is to run/jog 3 times a week. He has been running regularly for a few months now and I have been doing great for the last couple of week. We have our running schedule so that Jared wakes up at 5 am and goes running, then I wake up at 5:30 am so that as he is coming into the house to shower and get ready for work I go out to jog. By the time I'm done running he is ready to leave for work. It works out perfectly, the only downside to this is the waking up so early in the morning. Nowadays by 9 pm we are really sleepy and tired.

11 Sept 2010
Mmmm I'm eating breakfast right now. It is the usual granola cereal with semisweet chocolate.
Once again I'm writing to report my exercise for the past weeks or so. I have decided on my ideal weekly schedule which is guided by the classes offered by my local y. On Tuesday I do yoga at 6pm, on Wednesdays I do yoga at 8 pm, and on Thursdays I do Zumba-Funk at 6pm.
Well, this past week didn't workout cute as I imagined. I couldn't do yoga on Tuesday instead I had to go to church, but I jogged in the morning for 1.7 miles not too much but the area is hilly. On Wednesday I went to my regular night yoga class. It felt good to stretch. On Thursday I went to jog in in the morning, again for just 1.8 miles, and then in the evening I went to the gym but for some crazy reason I thought the class started at 7 so I was an hour late. I was very disapointed I really wanted to dance. The week before I went to all my classes, and I jogged once (that was when I decided to start running in the mornings).
Even though I have been exercising regularly I have gained (a total of) 4 pounds in the last few weeks, I have no ideal why. I'm hoping it's just muscle weight but I doubt it.
Did I mentioned that I tried the belly dancing class? It was ok but nothing I want to trade my regular classes for. I talked to a fried about trying Break-dancing but I don't know if we would actually do it, it scares me.

Projected excercise for the 2010-11 school year :)
I was going to start an exercise blog, but I haven't posted anything for a few weeks...(I love the ...)
For the past few months I have been exercising regularly, except for the last week and a half, by going to the gym for 3 to 5 hours a week. Now that I decided to home-school my kids I may spend less time at the gym.
Last week I only did one hour of yoga at the gym because my schedule was completely crazy/busy. This week my plan is to normalize my schedule and go to yoga or zumba for at least 3 hours. The breakdown of my projected gym time is as follows:
Tuesday: Yoga at 6pm
Wednesday: Zumba at 7pm and/or Yoga at 8pm
Thursday: Zumba or yoga at 6pm
There is also a middle eastern dance class after the Yoga classes that I'm considering but I'm not too interested, so I'll have to try them at least once in the near future.
